Pedestrian Killed In Crosswalk Identified
She was crossing Fremont Boulevard when she was hit.
FREMONT, CA — A pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning near a shopping center in Fremont has been identified as Sara Correa Ojeda, 47, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
Correa Ojeda, a Fremont resident, was crossing Fremont Boulevard in the crosswalk around 7:30 a.m. when a vehicle making a right turn out of the Fremont Hub Shopping Center struck her.
The crash closed Fremont Boulevard for roughly four hours while police investigated.
