Person Burned In Fremont Apartment Fire

FREMONT, CA — One person suffered "moderate to severe burn injuries" in a two alarm apartment fire in Fremont Tuesday afternoon, the fire department reports. She was rescued by firefighters.

The age of the female victim has not been released.

She was transported to a hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The fire was contained to one second floor apartment. The cause of the fire has not been reported.

There were no injuries to firefighters.
