Robber Points Gun At Fremont Wal-Mart Employee

The robbery happened Saturday night, according to police.

FREMONT, CA — Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Wal-Mart Saturday night in Fremont and pointed a gun at a store employee, police said.

At 9:30 p.m., a Fremont police officer investigated a robbery at the store at 40580 Albrae St.

According to police, the suspect stole a 50-inch television worth $900. When he was confronted by a store employee, he allegedly pointed a handgun at the employee and then left the store, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man who is 20 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a bulky green jacket and baggy jeans, police said.

The suspect was associated with a silver or gray Honda Accord, police said.
