Sunset Over Mission Peak: Photo Of The Day
Ah, the end of the work week. Time to breathe deeply!

FREMONT, CA — There are few things more beautiful than a sunset. Regardless of the stress of the day, a sunset will make you pause to reflect on the beauty.
Raj Gopinath provided this photo, Sunset over Mission Peak.
Mission Peak is a popular hiking destination. According to the East Bay Regional Parks District, "The determined and conditioned hiker who reaches the top of Mission Peak will be rewarded with views of Mount Hamilton to the south, the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west, Mt. Tamalpais to the north, and Mt. Diablo and the Sierra Nevada to the northeast."
