Early Morning Earthquake Hits Near Morgan Hill: Did You Feel It?
No injuries have been reported as a result of the quake.

MORGAN HILL, CA: A magnitude 2.5 earthquake hit near Morgan Hill early Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported around 2:12 a.m. The quake struck about 15 miles from San Jose.
According to the U.S.G.S., it was centered:
- 14.0 km (8.7 mi) N of Morgan Hill, California
- 18.0 km (11.2 mi) E of Seven Trees, California
- 20.0 km (12.4 mi) N of San Martin, California
- 20.0 km (12.4 mi) SE of Alum Rock, California
- 24.0 km (14.9 mi) ESE of San Jose, California
No injuries have been reported as a result of the quake.
