A spring fling for seniors, food shopping in Monterey, recycling and getting out on the trail are Gilroy Patch's suggestions for you when you Get Out this week.

Where/When: Christopher High, 850 Day Rd. Saturday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Why Go: Well, we can't all go. This is the dance for seniors. But to build community through generations, it is the Gilroy Youth Commission that is hosting this dance. It's a prom, and there will be a prom king and queen. It's fitting that this intergenerational effort has the dance taking place in the high school. The evening includes dinner, dancing AND Bingo.
