Why Go: See our Gilroy High School students act, sing and dance in their rendition of Rodgers and Hammersteinโs Cinderella. See the results of the 7th period drama class!

Why Go:ย See the work of your students from the Gilroy High School Fine Arts Department, on display at the Gavilan College Library. Reception from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m, but you can view the artwork until 8:00p.m.ย

Why Go: It's not a question of going, but of doing. Help our Gilroy High School students in their efforts to raise funds for Takko-Machi, Gilroy's sister city in Japan, in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami. The kids are collecting money in their classrooms and in the lunchroom now through the next two weeks. Help them help Takko-Machi.

Why Go: A walk in the woods on a moon-lit night. What could be better. Docent Jennifer Snedeker leads the way on the paved Martin Murphy Trail. Meet at the Harvey Bear entrance parking lot; wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a flashlight.

When/Where: 1:00 p.m. t0 3:15 p.m., Saturday;ย Children's Discovery Museum,ย 180 Woz Way, San Jose. (repeat sessions at 1 p.m. and again at 2:30 p.m.)
Why Go: A different take on storytelling for kids with the music of Corner' woodwind family.
