Here is what you need to know about a March For Our Lives event planned Saturday in South Santa Clara County.

SOUTH SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Millions of people across the U.S. and internationally are planning to take part Saturday, March 24 in more than 800 marches and rallies to protest gun violence. In Santa Clara County, local March For Our Lives events are planned in San Jose and in Morgan Hill.
March For Our Lives comes just 10 days after students across the country walked out of class as part of a nationwide effort to protest gun violence and push lawmakers to strengthen gun control laws. The walkout took place on the one-month anniversary of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
