Afternoon or Antiquity Appraisal Fair
If you have any heirlooms, antiques or just ''old stuff'' that you've looked at over the years and wondered what they were worth, then the Appraisal Fair is the place to be! Niles Grace, the well known Instant Appraiser on A&E's "The Incurable Collector", will once again evaluate attendees' antiques, collectibles and treasures, including costume jewelry. No firearms, coins or fine jewelry will be evaluated.
This is an adult only event - wine and appetizers will be served. Admission is $25 ($30 at door), while each item to be evaluated will be $10. Registration of items to be evaluated will be from 1 - 2 pm; with actual evaluations from 2 - 4:30 pm. Opportunity tickets for a hand made quilt will be available for $5 (winner need not be present).
This event is one of Kiwannianes' major fundraisers - proceeds to benefit high school scholarships. For tickets, sponsorships and information, call (626) 963-7851. This is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, not to mention that you finally find out the worth of those treasures that you've been storing in your attics and garages!
