Southland Gasoline Prices Drop For 34th Consecutive Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped to its lowest amount since Jan. 29 today, falling six-tenths of a cent to $3.786.

The average price has decreased for 34 consecutive days and is 3.5 cents less than one week ago, 24.5 cents lower than one month ago and 70 cents below one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information
Service.

The average price has dropped 27.6 cents over the past 34 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday. The dropping prices were immediately preceded by a 14-day streak of rising prices totaling 20.1 cents.

The Orange County average price dropped to its lowest amount since Jan. 28, falling six-tenths of a cent to $3.75.

The Orange County average price has decreased for 34 consecutive days and is 3.2 cents less than one week ago, 24.9 cents lower than one month ago and 70.6 cents below one year ago.

The Orange County average price has fallen 29 cents over the past 34 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday. The dropping prices were immediately preceded by a 14-day streak of rising prices totaling 20.3 cents.
