<ul><li>Have never used a GMRS radio and you want to learn the easy way.</li><li>Already have a GMRS radio and you want to learn how to use it easier, better, faster.</li><li>Want to bring a neighbor with you who is interested in joining you in a Neighborhood Net and use your radios to contact each other when all other means of communication have “gone down” (no landline, no cellular, no internet, power blackout)</li><li>Have been thinking GMRS is complicated -and you want it to be very simple and quick</li><li>Want to learn in an informal setting with experienced radio operators available to work directly with you.</li><li>Want a radio training that is more “hands on” and less “lecture”.</li><li>Are available on Saturday, July 18th between 10AM – Noon.</li></ul>
This in-person training is being led by Bob Dozor and Andy Hilldale, in addition to other experienced radio operators who are prepared to assist you.
NEXT STEPS: &nbsp; 1. Please RSVP no later than Mon., July 13, via email reply to: g_greeley@yahoo.com so we know how many people to expect and how many snacks to provide. If you want Training and you are not available on July 18th, include future dates that work for your schedule in your reply.  2.&nbsp;If you already have a GMRS radio, be sure its battery is charged and bring it with you&nbsp;to have its programming updated for connection to all local repeaters (longer range and clearer connections).
