Half Moon Bay Plein Air Painters at Montara Lighthouse
Photos from a recent outing.
A cool wind was blowing off the ocean, and the sun was bright and the sky was clear. It was a perfect day to capture the colors of the water plus the lighthouse and buildings.
Half Moon Bay's Plein Air Painters gather at a different location each Wednesday morning for a few hours to paint and enjoy each other's company. Each session is also a chance for painters to learn from each other.
Time permitting, the group gathers at the end of each session to share their morning paintings and talk further over lunch.
