Pastries and Hearty Breakfasts Served at HMB Coffee Co.

If you've visited Half Moon Bay Coffee Company without leaving your nose-print on the glass pastry cases, you have far more willpower than me.

I treat my visits to the scones, cheesecake, brownies, pies and other freshly baked pastries as cherished rites on gloomy mornings. And, ah, the aroma. 

If you're having trouble selecting just one thing from the pastry case, the staff will be glad to help you make a selection. They're used to indecisive, drooling customers. Jessica Perez has been working here since she was just 15 years old. Now 25, Jessica loves her job, " The food is really good. The employees are friendly and kind. People coming here especially like the breakfast and drinks."

Customers Ethel Oeser of Cupertino and Darlene Cormier of San Jose agreed, as they stoked their bodies with hearty breakfasts before hitting the Coastal Trail. "The breakfast is good--especially the apple chicken sausage," said Ethel. "And the fruit is really fresh." Besides her breakfast, Darlene enjoyed her hot chocolate.

And what about the coffee at HMB Coffee Co.? Customers have several choices freshly crewed each morning. If coffee isn't your cup of tea, they also serve tea, hot chocolate and other beverages.
