PHOTOS: Francois D'reguer Comes to Half Moon Bay
French curator pays a visit to Harbor Village over weekend.
Francois D'reguer, the curator of the Koala Museum of Modern Art (KOMA), stopped by Harbor Books on Saturday to give Half Moon Bay residents an introduction to his new art museum catalog.
Monsieur D'reguer was brought to the United States by Montara artist Nancy Margulies. D'reguer signed books and interacted with fans — but Margulies was not to be found at Saturday afternoon's event.
Now that it appears the Frenchman has left the country — Half Moon Bay Patch can let the public know that the all the available information does seem to point to the fact that Margulies and D'reguer are actually the same person.

The KOMA catalog was published by Half Moon Bay company and debuted on Feb. 17.
All kidding aside, read this published in Half Moon Bay Patch last week about Margulies and her inspiration to create her alter ego and the Koala Museum of Modern Art Catalogue.
