Singers Circuit Training in Half Moon Bay

Performance Singing! the Bay Area Peninsula vocal performance school, has announced an August workshop for children and teens of all skill levels. President and Master Instructor Pierce Peter Brandt focuses on the distinct art of song acting while strengthening musical basics, leading to better musical auditions and performances. Pierce Peter Brandt is a Bay Area native and resident whose performance career has taken him from cabarets to concert halls, national tours to Broadway productions. An award-winning actor/singer, Brandt is on the faculty of American Conservatory Theater and has taught master classes and workshops for adults and teens at theatrical institutions from New York to California. He is a recipient of two DramaLogue (Backstage West) Awards and a Goodman Critics Award, as well as numerous accolades from critics and audiences alike for his performances in leading roles across the US and Canada in Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s original Broadway productions of Les Misérables and Martin Guerre (original New York cast), the national touring company of Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as in numerous major musical productions at many of the country’s finest professional regional theaters, including Palo Alto’s TheatreWorks, San Francisco’s 42nd Street Moon, Washington DC’s Arena Stage, Minneapolis’s Guthrie Theater, New York’s City Center, Oakland’s Woodminster Musicals, Walnut Creek’s Festival Opera, San Jose’s American Musical Theatre, and others.
