Chabot Wrestling Set For Showdown
No. 4 Cuesta to visit Glads Thursday night at Gladiator Gym. Chabot is off to a strong start this season.

The Chabot wrestling team is off to a strong start and looking for a good turnout for a match against Cuesta, ranked fourth in the state, on Thursday night (7 p.m.) at the Gladiator Gymnasium.
On Oct. 2, the Gladiators swept a doubleheader against Delta College and San Jose State. The Gladiators beat Delta 36–16, with Gabriel Reynoso, Daniel Sanchez, Jake Blake, and Dominic DeBo all winning by fall.
Chabot next routed San Jose State 45–6. Steven Martin, Uriel Segura, Sanchez, and DeBo all won by fall. Reynoso earned a major decision, and Rafael Roman-Amador won by technical fall.
On Sept. 27, the Gladiators finished 16th in the Lemoore Tournament, the largest CA community college tournament of the year featuring 21 schools. Roman-Amador placed third.
Earlier in the season, Chabot placed seventh at the Sacramento Tournament. DeBo finished second at heavyweight, Blake took third at 184 pounds, and Dominic Sanders earned sixth place.
