• Catfish skin products recalled because of ineligible import status (foodsafetynews.com) — A Hayward-based importer is recalling nearly 1,000 pounds of crispy fish skin snacks sold at California retailers because they were made in China, which isn't allowed to export ready‑to‑eat catfish products to the U.S. If you've bought these branded fish skin crackers, federal officials say don't eat them—throw them away or return them, and contact a doctor if you feel unwell.
