In related news, Fong said Wednesday that two university students from Paris, France, arrived in Sonoma County this week to volunteer to help build Habitat for Humanity houses in Sebastopol.
"Antonin Prost-Coletta and Alexis Benitsa, both 23, attend La Rochelle Business School in La Rochelle, France," Fong said. "They arrived in the States last week and will work on the homes until Aug. 19.
"Other students from their school are volunteering with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Houston and Miami," Fong said.
Fong added that the two young men are staying in Sebastopol while they look for a longer-term solution such as house-sitting or a room-share near public transportation -- or a situation where an automobile might be available for their use.
If anyone can help them out, please call Kathy Fong, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County, at 707-578-7707, ext. 110.
