Box Truck Driver Dies In Sonoma County
The 40-foot box truck veered off the road, hitting a tree, around 5:55 a.m. today.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- The driver of a box truck died in a crash when the truck ran off the road and hit a tree in the remote Timber Cove area of Sonoma County early this morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The 40-foot box truck veered off the road, hitting a tree, around 5:55 a.m. today, according to the CHP. The crash happened on state Highway 1 near the Woodside Campground in the Timber Cove area, the CHP said.
About 10-15 gallons of diesel spilled in the crash, and the emergency workers who responded cleaned it up, according to the CHP.

The CHP doesn't have any further information about the driver or the truck at present.
