Join the Joe Mesics' Literary Canon book club! This month we will be discussing the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop. Elizabeth Bishop (1911-1979) “stands as the most highly regarded American poet of the second half of the 20th century,” says Dana Gioia, noted poet, professor, executive and critic. Read her poetry and come and be an active part of a discussion guided by Gioia as this special meeting of the Joe Mesics’ Literary Canon, a book club concentrating on literary works of lasting value.
