California Wildfires: How To Help Victims Across The State
Here's a list of places you can donate to help the thousands of Californians affected by wildfires this week.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — With tens of thousands of people displaced due to the Kincade Fire in Northern California and numerous fires raging in Los Angeles County, communities are stepping up to help the people affected.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of organizations accepting donations to help those in need, drawn in part from compilations by KQED, Sonoma Magazine, Fast Company and Refinery29.
Statewide
- The California Fire Foundation's Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency (SAVE) program provides relief to fire victims across California.
- The Center for Disaster Philanthropy launched a 2019 California Wildfires Recovery Fund.
Northern California (Kincade Fire)
- The Community Foundation of Sonoma County has a resilience fund that is open to donations.
- World Central Kitchen is asking for volunteers to help prepare meals and is accepting donations.
- Sonoma Family Meal is accepting donations and looking for volunteers.
- United Way of Wine Country has set up a Kincade Fire relief fund that is open to donations.
- The Red Cross is looking for volunteers to work at shelters and relief sites.
- Corazon Healdsburg, which helps the Spanish-speaking community, focusing on undocumented immigrants and their families in Sonoma County, is taking donations for its relief fund.
Southern California
- The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is taking donations on its website.
- The Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation has a fund to support its disaster relief and emergency response efforts.
- The Los Angeles County Fire Department Foundation is taking donations to help provide tools, equipment and resources for first responders.
