Car Crashes Into Windsor Business
BREAKING: The incident happened Saturday evening, according to Sonoma County sheriff's officials.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A driver of a car hit the accelerator instead of the brake and crashed Saturday night into a business in Windsor, sheriff's officials said. At 8:18 p.m. deputies were sent to the Lot 88 Restaurant & Bar at 8988 Brooks Road S. following the crash.
When the deputies arrived with firefighters they saw that a resident had driven his Toyota Avalon through the front doors of the restaurant, which was occupied.
Sheriff's officials said some employees inside the business suffered minor injuries and were treated and released at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota was not hurt.
Sheriff's officials said that neither drugs nor alcohol played a part in the crash.
