Cat Haven's Tango a Hit At H2
Healdsburg hotel and restaurant hosts Project Survival fundraising dinner.
Tango the cheetah captivated a small gathering of dinners at restaurant Saturday evening.
The Healdsburg inn and eatery was host to an educational and for Project Survival’s Cat Haven.
The evening focused on Cat Haven and their support for preservation projects for wild cats. Santo, a Jaguar cub, accompanied Tango for the evening.

The event drew 18 participants from around the Bay Area who came to not only see the big cats, but to learn about the species and Cat Haven’s ongoing preservation efforts.
Cat Haven's Executive Director and Founder Dale Anderson, while hoping for a few more attendees, said he was pleased with the turnout.

Anderson is a former Santa Rosa area resident who was inspired to work with big cats after attending a presentation in seventh grade.
Project Survival participates in numerous public events during the year, mainly school education programs. They participate in seven to eight fundraising dinners each year as well as supporting entertainment events such at the "Tonight Show" and television advertising.
Tango will star in an ad during this year’s Super Bowl.
Project Survival's Cat Haven is located in the Sierra foothills near Fresno and is open to visitors year-round. All of the animals at the facility are captive bred.
