Discover the magnificent, moldy world of funghi. We'll join Autumn Summers, a local naturalist and herbalist as well as Patrick Hamilton, author of The Mycochef, for a leisurely saunter on the beautiful Riddell Preserve near Healdsburg, highlighting edible, medicinal and common mushrooms, their lifecycle, and how to find them. After our foray we'll hike back to the Riddell Cabin where Patrick will work his culinary magic and prepare some mushroom hors d'oeuvres. Moderate hike with some steep sections.
