Fire Shuts Down U.S. 101 In Healdsburg
A Sig-alert was issued because of the grass fire Tuesday along northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Healdsburg.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — UPATED: Northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Healdsburg was reopened to traffic as of 6:18 p.m. Tuesday after a brush fire near the Dry Creek Road offramp prompted authorities to briefly shut down both lanes. The fire was initially reported at about 3:10 p.m. along the northbound right shoulder, just south of the offramp, according to California Highway Patrol.
At 3:25 p.m., the city of Healdsburg sent an advisory stating both northbound lanes were closed at Dry Creek Road because of the fire. City officials advised motorists to exit Dry Creek Road and use Healdsburg Avenue.
About 30 minutes later — at 3:55 p.m. — the city sent another advisory stating one lane had reopened but that drivers should expect traffic delays.

At 5:15 p.m., a Sig-Alert was issued and the No. 2 lane remained closed at Dry Creek Road, according to CHP.
Healdsburg Fire Department said in a 5 p.m Facebook post that a four-vehicle crash was "adding a significant delay to Healdsburg-area traffic on Hwy 101."

"Northbound Hwy 101 continues to be closed to a single lane. Use caution and avoid the area," Healdsburg Fire Department officials said.
