First Look at Willi's New Raw Bar
Willi's Seafood on Healdsburg Ave. has expanded, adding space, seating, and a nice new raw bar
For the past seven years, has drawn a steady clientele of locals and visitors to 403 Healdsburg Ave. for its tapas-style dining, raw bar and local wines. If there's been one thing missing from the restaurant it's been space: a narrow bar greeted the diner, a dark dining area beyond it and an outside patio -- usually crowded in nice weather and empty otherwise.
Taking advantage of the closing of Spirits in Stone next door, Willi's Seafood opens up a new face to the world today. With its remodeled entrance and a roomier dining area, a longer "raw bar" featuring oysters, lobster and other fresh crustacean catches, and an attention to detail that marks all of owner Mark Stark's restaurants, Willi's promises even more pleasure for its diners. Patch checked in at lunch to greet the first customers to the new Willi's.
