French Rhapsody & War In Pacific: Winter Lectures Kick Off
Two fascinating lecture series begin this week at the Raven Theater in Healdsburg, hosted by the American Association of University Women.

HEALDSBURG, CA – The Healdsburg branch of American Association of University Women this week kicks off its 2018 Winter Forum lecture series with two new courses presented at the Raven Performing Arts Theater, 115 North St., Healdsburg.
FRENCH RHAPSODY: ART & MUSIC OF TURN OF THE CENTURY FRANCE begins Tuesday, Jan. 9 presented by Kayleen Asbo.
Asbo will guide attendees from Romanticism to Modernism in the France of the last century. In music, think Ravel, Debussy, Stravinsky and more; and in art, think Renoir, Picasso, Cezanne, Van Gogh along with many other familiar names. Asbo’s website is www.kayleenasbo.com

WAR IN THE PACIFIC: WHAT WE NOW KNOW 75 YEARS AFTER PEARL HARBOR begins Thursday, Jan. 11 presented by Chris O’Sullivan.
O'Sullivan will focus on the war years in the Pacific Theater and will explore the developments in China years earlier, the continuing public fascination with the attack on Pearl Harbor and events in India and Southeast Asian.

Each course is six weeks long, and begins on Tuesday, Jan. 9 (French Rhapsody) and Thursday, Jan. 11 (War in the Pacific), continuing through Feb. 13 and Feb. 15, respectively.
Enrollment is $95 for each course and is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Sign-up details here.
