Healdsburg Changes City Hall Hours

Some city offices will be open Monday through Thursday and on alternating Fridays.

HEALDSBURG, CA — The city of Healdsburg is changing operating hours at some of its facilities, city officials said in a recent news release. Effective Monday, July 9, the City Hall offices of Administration and Utility Billing at 401 Grove St. and the Community Development Center offices of Planning, Building, Public Works and Utilities will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on alternating Fridays.

The first Friday closure will be Friday, July 13. Remaining Friday closures through December 2018 are: July 27; Aug. 10 and 27; Sept. 7 and 21; Oct. 5 and 19; Nov. 2, 16 and 30; and Dec. 14 and 28.

The facilities are converting to a "9-80" work schedule, resulting in these offices being closed on alternating Fridays throughout the year.

City officials said the change enables the city to: extend customer service hours for its community Monday through Thursday; reduce greenhouse gas production by cutting a travel day for employees; and reduce utility and facility use costs by closing some facilities on the off day.

Public Works and Building inspections will be available on the closed Fridays, city officials noted.
