Healdsburg Firefighters Respond To Brush Fire
Crews were on scene of the fire and no evacuations were necessary, city officials said.
HEALDSBURG, CA — Healdsburg firefighters were responding to a small brush fire Tuesday evening east of U.S. Highway 101, city officials said.
As of 6:30 p.m., crews with the Healdsburg Fire Department were on scene of the vegetation fire, which was in north Healdsburg near Alexander Valley Road at Healdsburg Avenue.
"No evacuations in order," city officials said via Nixle. "Forward progress has been stopped."

The fire was reported at 5:54 p.m. at 294 Alexander Valley Road, according to the Pulsepoint cellphone app used by fire departments.
An unofficial report on Twitter put the fire at 2 acres in size.
