Healdsburg PD Issues Notice to Residents Regarding Utility Checks Placed in Drop-Off Box
The outside payment box in the parking lot at City Hall was broken into last night.

HPD is currently investigating the theft of mail (Healdsburg citizen’s utility payment checks) from an outside payment box in the parking lot at City Hall.

Officers discovered that the utility payment drop-off box was forced open sometime last night by unknown suspect(s). It is unknown as to how many payments checks were stolen.
Currently, two victims have been identified and notified of the incident and will be working with their banks to cancel their payment checks.

Citizens who dropped off their payment check during the weekend are urged to call the Utility Billing & Customer Service Department at 431-3307 and verify their payment was received.
Victims can respond to HPD and refer to case #15-365. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
