Last Night Tonight to "Eat and Run" at Strolling Dine Around
"Progressive dinner" served at 17 area restaurants to benefit Food Pantry and North Coast Consortium
There are only a few times a year when “eat and run” is polite. Wednesday and Thursday this week and next offers several such opportunities – four, in fact, the number of days that Healdsburg plays host to the annual .
Participants pay a flat $85 per person and make their choice to have one course each at four different restaurants. There are 17 participating restaurants this year, so that averages out to four choices for each course. (An 18th, Shimo’s, closed two weeks ago; diners who selected Shimo’s for their first course will be diverted to other restaurants.)

“So far we have 333 people signed up,” said Laurie Moore, who is the organizer of the Strolling Dine Around event, sponsored by the and the Healdsburg Lodging Coalition. “That’s about 100 more than last year, which is great!”
For last year’s Strolling Dine Around, the new Healdsburg Patch crew made a video about the event, hosted by . This year as last, a portion of the proceeds benefit and the North Coast Consortium Program.

The restaurants involved in this year’s Strolling Dine Around are all within walking distance of each other, most located within the immediate area of the . The courses they will offer are as follows:
