Here are the top three stories in Healdsburg today:

  1. Kevin Burke, the retired Healdsburg Police chief and Sonoma County Democratic Party favorite, has officially dropped out of the race for Sonoma County sheriff. Burke made a statement on Monday where he announced he made the decision to withdraw "for reasons related to my health and in consultation with my family, friends, and personal physician." (The Santa Rosa Press Democrat)
  2. On Monday, one of the pioneers of Sonoma County, SIMI Winery, introduced the Editor's Collection Rosé in a partnership with Reese's Book Club (RBC), the book club established by Hello Sunshine founder Reese Witherspoon.
