Kirsten Smith Is New HUSD Student Trustee

senior was sworn in tonight as a student trustee on the Healdsburg Unified School District board.

Smith, 17, a former columnist for Healdsburg Patch, is the daughter of civic leader Gisela Smith Babb and step-daughter of a member of Healdsburg City Council.

Kirsten, who is active on a number of school groups and clubs, succeeds student trustee , who graduated in June.
