Last Chance This Weekend for "Johnny's" Healdsburg Karaoke

"Johnny's Off the Plaza" to close its doors on Sat., Feb. 18 with "Johnny's Grand Finale" karaoke night.

 

After more than two years in business, Healdsburg's neighborhood karaoke pub, is closing its doors this Saturday with a "Johnny's Grand Finale" karaoke night starting at 6 p.m.

"Thanks to everyone for coming by," said owner John Gavello in announcing the close of the at 60 Mill St. in Healdsburg.

"I've made many friends," said Gavello, who first opened his pub as " in October 2009. "I'll miss you and I love you all."

In addition to the karaoke on Saturday night, Gavello said he will auction off the following items:1) Sign on the Roof; 2) Gas pump (wood art); 3) Early 1900s piano; 4) Neon & lighted beer signs.

Gavello said he will also offer a karaoke night on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. and live music by the band on Friday, Feb. 17, at 9 p.m. ($5 cover).

"Johnny's Off the Plaza," one of Healdsburg's has struggled over the past year to find its profitability. Formerly called several months ago.
