Healdsburg, Geyserville, Windsor honor the fallen on Memorial Day 2011
Ceremonies start 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, in Healdsburg; 11 a.m. in Geyserville; 12 noon in Windsor.
Memorial Day weekend is the classic start of summer. It also is the time to honor the fallen and pay our respects:
MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY, MAY 30: The has a classic Memorial Day tribute to our fallen veterans that is a tradition in Healdsburg. The 21-gun salute and the playing of "Taps" on a trumpet from high on the hill.
It will be at Oak Mound Cemetery in Healdsburg at 10 a.m., at 11 a.m. Olive Hill Cemetery in Geyserville and at Shiloh Cemetery in Windsor at 12 noon.
