Security guards heard the female’s screams and chased the suspect away, sheriff’s officials said. Arriving deputies were unable to find the suspect.

The suspect was seen on video from the parking lot surveillance system but heavy fog on the footage has made it difficult for investigators to identify him, according to sheriff’s officials.

The female’s boyfriend was inside the casino at the time of the incident, sheriff’s officials said. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office’s violent crimes unit are investigating the case.
