Hard to believe one of Healdsburg's most highly rated wineries honed their craft in humble beginnings but for Ben Papapietro and Bruce Perry winemaking was the beginning of beautiful friendship. In this week's , Healdsburg Patch's shows us  how Papapietro Perry Winery took their passion for Pinot into overdrive starting in the garage and ending in Dry Creek Valley.

Saturday, June 18, 1-5 p.m. Festival Pavilion, Fort Mason Center  Cost: $50 Pinot Days San Francisco celebrates the amazing noble grape in all its gloriously diverse styles, and this year’s offering is more broad and complete than ever. Over 220 artisan winemakers representing every domestic pinot noir region will pour the fruits of their craft, each sharing their unique interpretation of pinot noir and the stories of their winemaking.
