Power Restored In Healdsburg Citywide Power Outage
The city's transmission source was lost but PG&E switched the city to a different substation.
HEALDSBURG, CA — Power was restored to the city of Healdsburg in a brief outage early Friday, the city said.
The citywide power outage was due to the loss of the city's transmission source fro PG&E, city officials said.
However, the city said, PG&E was able to switch Healdsburg to an alternate transmission source at the Fulton sub-station and restore electricity.

Crews safely restored power to approximately 8,000 customers, within 15 minutes, in Healdsburg and Windsor, PG&E Spokeswoman Deanna Contreras told Patch.
The city of Healdsburg operates its own electric department that provides service to 5,793 meters. The department maintains the Badger substation, 1,220 power poles, more than 800 transformers and 1,320 streetlights.
