Snow Views From Cobb Mountain: Photos Of The Week

Patch loves photos! Share your photos with your local Patch, and your work could be featured.

COBB, CA — As rain fell Wednesday night across the Bay Area, residents of Cobb Mountain woke up Thursday to a winter wonderland. Enjoy these photos taken by Cobb resident Peg Landini, who reports that her kitty cat wasn't too thrilled about the white stuff.

The photos taken at an elevation of 3,100 feet include a view of snow on the ridge line of The Geysers geothermal field.

"This is normal and occurs two-three times a winter, with 2-4 inches that lasts a few days," Peg reports.
