Sonoma County Coroner Identifies Body Found in Ditch

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the person who died Friday evening, Dec. 16, after being found in a ditch on Stony Point Road, just north of Wilfred Avenue in Santa Rosa.

The man has been identified as Terrance Timothy Russell, a 69 year-old Santa Rosa resident. He was found alive and then transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital where he died.

The cause of death is yet to be determined. The County Coroner’s Office says it has scheduled a forensic pathologist to conduct an examination to determine the cause.
