A 3 hour intensive workshop about the properties, personalities and character of ink.
Why does ink act the way it does, how do you alter it to fit the medium you are working in?
What do you think about when choosing ink and paper for a project?
After this class you will be able to carry on a dialogue with yourself that is both scholarly and academic to help in these decisions. Paper, brayers solvents, oils and other mediums such as transparency, thickening agents and extenders will be covered in this talk.

With numerous exhibitions to her credit, Jami Taback is a highly accomplished visual artist. Her ability to manipulate and master her medium is a wonderful compliment to her expansive cosmic vision and the subject matter she chooses to depict. From painting to drawing to print making and Book Arts, Taback uses her considerable skills to bring life and vitality to her work. The work is highly personal in both her choice of subject matter and her articulation of it. It reflects a deep interest in the spiritual universe and its impact on our lives. She refers to herself as an artaholic…obsessed with the craft of making art, looking at art, and living an artist’s life.
