Tuesday In The Healdsburg Plaza Season Ends With Extra Sparkle

HEALDSBURG, CA — Break out the bell-bottoms, rhinestones, and partially unbuttoned denim: Healdsburg is channeling Neil Diamond Tuesday night as Tuesdays in the Plaza marks the end of the season and shares the limelight with the Healdsburg Museum.

The Super Diamond tribute band will close out the 2026 Tuesdays in the Plaza concert series as the Healdsburg Museum also marks its 50th anniversary.

The tribute band will perform 6-8 p.m. in the Healdsburg Plaza, bringing its rock-influenced versions of Diamond’s classic hits to the season’s final concert.

Healdsburg Community Services encouraged appropriate dress for the occasion — a 1970s look, including bold patterns, bell-bottoms, sequins, ruffles, and sparkle.

In August 2012, Diamond last performed at the Hot August Night III concert hits like "Sweet Caroline," "Forever in Blue Jeans," and "Cherry, Cherry."

Those songs were recorded between 1966 and 1978. But the original "Hot August Night" compilation was recorded at the Greek Theatre in 1972.

Diamond launched his flashy 1970s stage style in a Bill Whitten-designed denim outfit including a partially unbuttoned embroidered, beaded jacket with matching tight denim trousers, which were tailored with vertical lines down the front and sides of the legs.

The evening will also celebrate 50 years of the Healdsburg Museum with an invitation to sing and dance along with the music during the concert.
