Watercolor Classes with Phyllis Rapp

education, adult classes, art education, galleries, Healdsburg, Healdsburg Center for the Arts, workshops, classes, art workshops

The emphasis of these classes is to introduce students to watercolor. This is a beginner class but is also a good class for those who would like to get back to using watercolor.
The first day will consist of an introduction to the materials used in watercolor. There will be demonstrations on color mixing and techniques with student participation.

The second day the students will apply the skills taught on the first day and paint a simple painting with newly acquired confidence.
The third day students will create a painting with the use a photocopy of a simple subject for reference. The instructor will provide the photocopies.

There will be several demonstrations by the instructor during all three class days.
