SANTA ROSA, CA — Wells Fargo hosted "Community Day" on Thursday at its Santa Rosa branch on Cleveland Avenue to support North Bay residents impacted by the October 2017 wildfires. The event included check presentations totaling $200,000 in grants to four local nonprofits focused on recovery efforts and disaster assistance: California Farmlink, La Luz Bilingual Center, Napa-Sonoma Small Business Development Center and On the Move.

"Funds will go toward the economic rebuilding and revitalization of the region and help address housing and employment needs," said Edith Robles, assistant vice president of corporate communications for Wells Fargo Bay Area.

Wells Fargo had its mobile response unit on hand for Community Day as light refreshments were served and fire victims were given information about services and resources available from the nonprofits.
