SF Chron Wine Winners to Be Announced Friday

Medal and sweepstakes winners will be announced  Friday for the 2012

Judging is taking place this week at the

"We're very excited to report that we have a record breaking number of entries for 2012," said organizer Liz Rosinski.

She said more than 5,500 American wines were entered into the competition, and more than 60 judges are tasting and evaluating the wines this week.

Rosinski said a list of winners will be released on Friday.
