Winter Rains Prompt Healdsburg to Open Sandbag Filling Station

HEALDSBURG, CA -- With the City of Healdsburg beginning to experience winter rains, officials have opened a sandbag filling station for city residents and businesses, should they need them.

The station is located at the Healdsburg Community Center, 1557 Healdsburg Ave. The station is open from 8 am to 5 pm daily on the paved area next to the community center field.

Residents should bring their own shovels and bag ties. Information on how to fill and place sandbags can be seen in the below video:
