• Cristian Alvarez Killed, At Least Two Critically Injured in San Jacinto Collision on Santa Fe Avenue (pacificattorneygroup.com) — A 28-year-old Hemet resident, Cristian Alvarez, died Thursday night after a two-vehicle collision at Santa Fe Avenue and Midway Street in nearby San Jacinto, which also left others seriously injured. Deputies closed a stretch of Santa Fe Avenue for several hours while investigators worked to determine what caused the crash.
