Man Arrested In Connection To Hermosa Beach Shooting
Police say the shooting stemmed over a business dispute.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA – A man was arrested Tuesday in connection to a Hermosa Beach shooting that occurred last month – police say it stemmed from a business dispute. Bruce Jackson Jr., 25, was arrested about 10:20 a.m. near his Los Angeles home and was being held in lieu of $1.05 million bail, according to Hermosa Beach police and sheriff's inmate records.
"The firearm used was also recovered from the suspect's vehicle," Hermosa Beach police Sgt. Robert Higgins said.
The shooting took place on March 24 around 3 p.m. in an alley in the 2700 block of El Oeste Drive, Hermosa Beach police Sgt. Robert Higgins said. The victim, who was in his early 20s, was located at a hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and has since been released, Higgins said.

The investigation is still open, however, preliminary findings indicate that it appears to be a business dispute between the suspect and the victim, according to police.
