• 'Shared Horizon' Brings Japan-California Art Exchange to Hermosa Beach (rafu.com) — An upcoming international art show, "Shared Horizon," will open at Gallery of Hermosa in Hermosa Beach on Friday, Oct. 2, with a public reception from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibit features work from Japanese and international artists, deepening a cultural exchange between Hermosa Beach and Chigasaki, Japan, through painting, sculpture, mixed media, and photography.
