2 Bodies Pulled from LA River in Search for Missing Teens
Authorities searching for boys, 15 and 16, found two bodies in the Los Angeles River.
LOS ANGELES, CA - Divers recovered two bodies today while searching for two teenage boys who went missing in the Los Angeles River near Cypress Park.
The teenagers went missing on Friday and crews were searching in the area of Division Street and San Fernando Road.
The two teens were in a group of four people when one fell into the water and another went in after him, according to news reports.

Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said firefighters were summoned about 12:40 p.m. to assist Los Angeles police in the 1900 block of San Fernando Road.
Los Angeles police tweeted about 8:20 p.m. that divers had recovered two bodies.

Family members identified the missing teens as Carlos Jovel, 16, and Gustavo Ramirez, 15, according to the Los Angeles Times, which reported a search for the boys began on Friday.
Family members initially were unaware the boys had gone in the water, LAPD Capt. Andrew Neiman told the newspaper.
That information, along with the area where the teens were last seen, came to light on Sunday.
The recovered bodies were not immediately identified as those of the missing boys.
